About Me
Born in Bucharest,
Romania, in 1982, I immigrated to Montreal Canada in 1987, after a short
two-year stay in Israel. I studied at Collège Stanislas, obtained
my CEGEP degree in Pure & Applied
Sciences at Marianopolis, and my Bachelor's
degree in Computer Engineering at Concordia University in 2005.
Having been part of Concordia's Undergraduate
Cooperative program, I have completed work internships at Zeroknowledge
Systems Inc. (2002-2003), Matrox
Imaging (2004) and Alcan (2005). Over time, I have accumulated considerable experience in software programming, web design & development, graphic design, search engine optimization, as well as graphics programming (see my latest work in my Portfolio section). I have started Hébergement Web Canada, a leading French-canadian web hosting and domain name provider, that now counts several thousand customers worldwide, and have since gone on to co-found nCube Solutions, an innovative web development company. In 2008, nCube Solutions added Globe Cité, another leading web hosting provider, to its list of acquisitions, in a breakthrough deal that saw nCube's customer base double overnight.
In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, ball hockey (I goaltend), and the occasional basketball/soccer game. When I'm not glued to my computer, I also love hiking & camping. I try baking in the sun as much as I can during summer, and hit the slopes skiing during the winter (when I'm not busy cheering the Habs on). I'd tell you more, but odds are you either don't really care, or know the rest already! Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if there's an additional tidbit you're dying to know.
